At Equus we are passionate about retraining and finding permanent homes for Thoroughbreds.

When a Thoroughbred has finished its racing career regardless if it has being a long and distinguished career or one that never got started, at Equus we believe that this is only the beginning.

Retraining thoroughbreds to become relaxed and useful horses is what we do best, with many Thoroughbreds now used in various Equestrian disciplines, including Eventing, Showjumping, Dressage, Polo, PC/ARC.

Retraining a race horse can have its challenges but the reward of knowing we have given the horse a second chance in life overrides all.

We are the major sponsor of the newly established Thoroughbred Riding Club Inc, as we believe the benefits for both rider and horse are endless. The Thoroughbred Riding Club Inc was formed strictly for Thoroughbreds’ and can be found at www.thoroughbredridingclub.com.au.

We are continually sourcing new horses and owners who can give these wonderful horses the future they so rightly deserve.
